The panel will address practical nutrition strategies to support recovery while providing clinicians with actionable insights to optimize care across the continuum of critical illness.
- Distinguish malabsorption, feeding intolerance, and inadequate caloric delivery in the critically ill patient.
- Review the importance of omega 3 PUFAs and SPMs in “resolution” pathways as novel therapeutic strategies
- Define characteristics and consequences of post-intensive care syndrome (PICS).
