
ASPEN membership arms you with the knowledge and connections you need to succeed in nutrition support, and members can access a variety of benefits. To become a member, the best way is to submit payment through ASPEN’s safe, easy, and fast online dues renewal system.

To renew your membership, simply log in to your ASPEN account. If your membership expires within the next 90 days, there will be a payment button for your annual membership dues. If you are rejoining, navigate to the left side of the page and select “Membership.”

Membership Dues
Membership costs vary by membership type. ASPEN membership is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Physician Members1 | $240 | Qualifying roles include Physicians (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) |
Professional Members1 | $170 | Qualifying roles include Dietitians, Nurses, Pharmacists, PhDs, Nurse Practitioners, and PAs/Physician Assistants |
Trainee/Early Career Members2 | $125 | Individuals must be within 5 years of receiving PhD, or registration or licensure to practice in their field to be considered early career. Trainees are those individuals in a residency, internship, or training program. |
Student Members2 | $60 | Individuals must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students, as defined by their institution. |
Emeritus Members | $80 | Individuals who have been an ASPEN member for at least 5 years and are no longer practicing (fully retired) |
Non-Health Members1 | $240 | Individuals who are not involved with the healthcare of patients. |
1 Memberships effective October 1, 2025 will be increased $5 per ASPEN policies.
2 Students and trainees/early career members receive JPEN and NCP journals online only.
