Dear Colleagues,
I would like to welcome you to the Pharmacy Practice Section’s webpage. The purpose of the Pharmacy Practice Section is to provide a structure for communication among the members of ASPEN who have shared interests and expertise in nutrition support pharmacy practice; to advance ASPEN’s strategic plan by promoting optimal use of clinical nutrition for all patients in all settings; and to assist in the development of safe and appropriate nutrition practices utilized by health care professionals who are not nutrition specialists.
We are encouraging our Section members to become more involved in several different ways including: volunteering to serve on our Section subcommittee; providing feedback and suggestions to improve our Section’s efforts; and becoming active on the ASPENConnect Section community.
We have an exciting year ahead and I look forward to serving Section member interests through the efforts of our volunteer members.
